British Council publication scheme The British Council connects people worldwide with learning opportunities and creative ideas from the UK and builds lasting relationships between the UK and other countries. We are committed to openness and transparency in our dealings with people and organisations. By opening up more of our organisation to the world we are promoting integrity and trust. We are currently planning, in line with the outcomes of the Information Commissioner’s Development and Maintenance Initiative, to produce a new format for our Publication Scheme by the Autumn of 2008 in order to make more information more routinely accessible to the public.
